These terms explain how lessons, locations, extra charges and cancellations work.

These terms apply to private swimming lessons taught by Rehan Ahmad, trading as Rehan's Swim Academy ("Rehan", "we"), in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. "You" means the adult who books the lessons, for yourself or for a child in your care.

You accept these terms when you book a lesson, a lesson pack or an intro call.

Rehan teaches private, one-on-one swimming lessons for babies, children, teenagers and adults. Each lesson lasts one hour unless you and Rehan agree a different length in writing.

The free intro call is a 30-minute video call to discuss the swimmer, the location and a lesson plan. Booking the call does not commit you to buying lessons.

Lessons can take place at any suitable pool in Dubai. Rehan travels to your villa, building, community or club pool, or to any other pool that you are allowed to use.

If you do not have a pool, Rehan can arrange one for you. He tells you which pool it is and what it costs before you book.

When a lesson takes place at a pool you provide, you are responsible for making sure an outside instructor is allowed to teach there, and for any guest, access or permit fee the pool's owner or manager charges.

Lesson prices are AED 200 for a single lesson, AED 600 for the 4-Lesson Pack and AED 1,000 for the 8-Lesson Pack. These prices cover the coaching and any equipment the lesson needs.

Travel is charged in addition to the lesson price. The travel charge depends on the distance to your location, and Rehan confirms it before you book.

If Rehan arranges a pool for you, the hire or entry cost of that pool is charged in addition to the lesson price. Rehan confirms the amount before you book.

Rehan always gives you the full price, including travel and pool charges, before you confirm a booking. Nothing is added afterwards unless you change the location, the number of swimmers or the lesson length.

Group and sibling lessons are priced on request.

Rehan confirms how and when to pay when you book. A lesson or a pack is reserved once payment has been received or Rehan has confirmed the booking in writing.

A lesson pack is for the swimmer or family it was bought for and cannot be resold. Rehan confirms how long a pack stays valid when you buy it.

Please tell Rehan at least 24 hours before a lesson if you need to move or cancel it, and he will rebook it at no charge. A lesson cancelled with less notice, or missed without notice, may be charged in full, including any pool cost that has already been paid.

If Rehan has to cancel a lesson, or a lesson cannot go ahead because of weather, a pool closure or a safety concern, he rebooks it at no charge or refunds that lesson.

If the swimmer arrives late, the lesson still ends at the booked time.

Tell Rehan before the first lesson about any medical condition, injury, allergy or fear of water that could affect the swimmer. Please keep a swimmer who is unwell out of the water.

A parent or guardian must stay at the pool for the whole lesson when the swimmer is under 18. For baby and toddler lessons, a parent or guardian joins the child in the water.

Rehan may pause or end a lesson if the pool, the weather or a swimmer's behaviour makes it unsafe to continue.

Swimming carries some risk. Rehan teaches with care and puts water safety first, and you accept the ordinary risks of swimming and of using the pool where the lesson takes place. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UAE law.

Rehan sometimes records short clips to show a swimmer's progress. He only films or photographs a swimmer with your permission, and he only shares a photo or video publicly if you have agreed to that.

Rehan may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page on the day you book is the one that applies to that booking.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai.
